If you’ve watched the Pride march, you’ll know that wearing showy attire is strongly encouraged. These spectacular parades generally take place every June – depending on the season as well as hemisphere you are in. Today, these marches serve as both a celebration and a catalyst for expanded LGBTQ rights and acceptance throughout the world. As you may be aware, Gay Pride Parades began in the aftermath of the famous Stonewall riots in Manhattan in 1969.
